May 2012 Calendar

Finally, here is the May 2012 calendar! White ink on the beautiful French Paper Spearmint 100lb. cover stock. Unlike letterpress and offset printing screen printing inks can be more opaque. That’s how you can get white ink on a colored paper stock like this month calendar.

Sculpting Paper

We all know, sometimes less really can be more. Look at these lovely embossed cards, no ink, no color, just beautifully textured papers sculpted to form. Embossing will give a piece a sense of class, sophistication, and value. It turns a flat generic sheet of paper into a uniquely crafted piece of art.
We can turn your design or logo into a metal die to emboss or deboss (pressing down into the sheet instead of up). It’s a beautiful process unmatched in it’s detail.

Offset February Calendar

Here is the February calendar, better late then never! This is a 2 color piece printed offset. The orange-ish hot pink really cuts right through the darker background. Printing offset on a textured paper such as this Neenah Sundance Felt always looks gorgeous, solid color areas flood the sheet leaving the beautiful texture intact. Letterpress would flatten out the sheet, which is fine and is equally as lovely in a different way. Getting the know the characteristics of all the different print methods will help you get the most out of your design. Of course, we’re always here to help produce your work in the highest quality. Here’s a job hot off the press. Sometimes simple is best; this is a 2 color (black and grey) letterpress wedding collection. Classy with a modern touch… yes, pun intended. The whole set included the invite, rsvp, thank you cards, and even a map which is really cool.

Keeping Busy

Here are some quick shots of things we’ve been up to of late.

This is a really fun 2 color holiday pattern card. Such nice little details!

This client wanted a super thick business card, a beautiful card that would be hard to part with. We ended up doing 2 color letterpress with sky blue edge painting.

I think this was a first for us, printing a really nice illustration of green tomatoes. 2 color letterpressed.

Here are the Thank You cards for this wedding invite set. We tried a bunch of different foils and got some really nice effects.

We’ve also been experimenting with rolling foil onto paper as opposed to stamping it on. We’ve got some really nice results, and are continuing to explore the possibilities!
